Meet Dr. Nadia Esfandiari

Dr. Nadia (as she affectionately is called) joined the practice of Dr. David Zelby, Aesthetic & Implant Dentistry of Atlanta, in November 2022. She brings twelve years of dental experience, eight of those years in a highly respected cosmetic dentistry practice located in Atlanta. Her cosmetic dentistry skills and gentle, caring nature make her a star in helping our patients achieve their smile goals.

Dr. Nadia believes a healthy mouth is a cornerstone to a beautiful smile, and each patient has individual needs and should be treated uniquely. Having an artistic mindset, she utilizes creativity and her passion for the arts to add an extra touch of passion and artistry to her dental work. Her constant commitment to providing the best patient satisfaction is key to her strong patient-doctor relationships. She is determined to give her patients the smile they’ve always desired.

Dr. Nadia Esfandiari Abbassi was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. At 13, she moved to Atlanta (Sandy Springs) with her family. Dr. Nadia received her bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University and her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Dental College of Georgia. Following graduation, she completed a Post-doctoral aesthetic fellowship with the world-renowned Dr. Ronald Goldstein in Atlanta, which was an opportunity of a lifetime that was never before offered to any other dentist. She spent a year working closely with Dr. Goldstein on many large full-mouth rehab & cosmetic cases. Dr. Nadia also significantly contributed to Dr. Ronald Goldstein’s book, “Esthetics in Dentistry” Third Edition.

Upon completing her esthetics fellowship under Dr. Goldstein, she was offered a full-time position as an associate dentist at Goldstein Garber & Salama, where she continued her passion for caring for her patients for over eight years. Today, she continues that passion as a family and cosmetic dentist at Aesthetic & Implant Dentistry of Atlanta. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Nadia brings passion, artistry, and commitment to her patients in the Atlanta area.

Dr. Nadia has taken numerous courses covering all aspects of dentistry. She has thoroughly enjoyed and built her dental practice as a cosmetic and restorative practice treating patients. In addition, cosmetic dentistry has been very enjoyable and personally rewarding, as she has developed a very successful and highly respected cosmetic practice within her dental practice.

Dr. Nadia believes that education should not end with her receiving a doctorate. She is committed to staying current with the latest technologies and advances in dentistry by attending many continuing education courses and workshops. She continues her passion for dentistry by writing dental articles in her spare time. Her first article, “Effective Measurements for Predictable Esthetic Success,” was published in Dentistry Today (The nation’s leading clinical news magazine for Dentists) in November 2017, where she was featured as a leading clinician on the cover of the magazine. Dr. Nadia was also named a contributing writer at large for Dr. Ronald Goldstein’s dental textbook titled Esthetics in Dentistry, 3rd Edition.

When not serving her patients, Dr. Nadia enjoys time with her husband, Amir, and their two sons. Their wedding was featured on the cover of the Southern Seasons Magazine in the Fall of 2016. Dr. Nadia speaks Farsi and enjoys cooking, traveling, swimming, painting, and spending time with her family and friends.
